The Jaguar X-TYPE is an entry-level luxury car / compact executive car produced by the Ford owned British luxury marque Jaguar Cars since 2001. It is built on a modified version of the Ford CD132 platform, a British version of the Ford CDW27 platform, which is the base for the Ford Mondeo, and remains in production at Jaguar's Halewood facility in England.

A fixed monthly payment for an agreed period of time is put in place, which is based upon your anticipated mileage. In terms of vehicle maintenance, this can sometimes be included as an additional option. Once the contract comes to an end, a predetermined final payment is paid to purchase the vehicle or, the other option being to return it to the car finance company.
